can't leave/have not yet left 200x behind

Following up on my New Year's Resolution.
So far the most comprehensive lyrical deconstruction of Mega Man 2 I've seen yet.
And don't think I've stopped looking.

(more of this kind of radness by these "the adventures of duane and brando" fellows here)
Yes all we do now is look for and re-post rapping over Mega Man.
Forget about our upcoming feature film, the inevitable conclusion to Really Good Reason and whatever the hell else we do.
Welcome to the future.

and now it's time to parish

Remember this?
Hope so. Wasn't too long ago.
If you were digging on F1v3.2's tunes, well, I've got some good news for ya.
One of our buddies just happens to sound almost exactly like 'em.
And now he has a home on Mongrel.

Andrew Parish, electronic musical bliss.

It's uncanny, really.
Here's to neither suing the other.

Throughout the land...

Quinn Allan landed himself a spot in a nice little podcast hailing from Pennsylvania. Check out The Acoustic Diner with Dylan Michaels. Quinn's song "The Man With the Black Bird" is somewhere in the middle of the show. So check it out:

A window into a world...

He’s Quinn Allan. You’ve heard of him. He’s sassy. He’s sexy. And he is definitely not writing this blog. He has graced us with a small video blog performance of one of his new songs. I haven’t got a name for it yet. He! He doesn’t have a name for it yet, that’s how new it is. So watch it, soak it in, and leave us a comment about what you think. Or we’ll come after you. Or he’ll come after you. I don’t know anymore. Whichever pretense is correct.

If you liked all that then make sure you come and check him out in concert Halloween night at the Airplay Café. More details here. Also, Tuesday nights at the Tiger Bar and Wednesday nights at The Hawthorne Theatre open mic night. It’s a ball and a biscuit.

Buying this will make you a better person.

What? You don't already have the debut album from singer/songwriter Quinn Allan? You have yet to visit our music page and click on his name and download all ten glorious tracks of sweet sweet folk goodness for only ten bucks? And you call yourself a music patron. You call yourself our friend. Well "friend," if you plan on staying in our good graces, where the bounty is plentiful, then I highly suggest you click the awesome image of this album, "The Story of Elston Gunn," and bust out that old credit card. There, I think this little chat went rather well. Don't you?
